Studio

My professional focus involves the meticulous execution of conservation and restoration treatments tailored for modern, post-war, and contemporary artworks. Over the course of my career, I have honed my expertise in conserving and treating diverse genres, with a specialized emphasis on Pop-Art, Hard-Edge, Colorfield, and Minimalist artworks.

I excel in the intricate art of inpainting, particularly when faced with challenging surfaces such as metallic paint, fluorescent paint, matte finishes, and acrylic paint. Moreover, I have developed a distinctive proficiency in inpainting monochromatic paintings using airbrush techniques.

My expertise enables me to preserve the originality and integrity of each artwork, while simultaneously respecting the individual requirements and artistic intentions.

WORK

The conservation process begins with a thorough examination of your artwork, either at Conservation Studio or directly at your location. Following this assessment, a comprehensive Condition Report and a Treatment Proposal or Proposal for Testing are meticulously prepared. Once you've given your approval, the treatment takes place at Conservation Studio, on-site, or at an art storage facility. Each phase of the treatment is thoroughly documented in written form, accompanied by digital images captured at key stages.

Upon the conclusion of the treatment, you will receive a detailed Treatment Report. For images and After Treatment Condition Reports, these are available upon specific request only.

While rough, non-binding estimates can be provided based on images, please note that a precise estimate can only be furnished after a thorough examination of the artwork. Feel free to direct your inquiries to contact@conservation-studio.ch
